Samsung SGH-E870
Samsung adds a new light pink color and launched the SGH-E870 clamshell mobile to attract girly-girls and female buyers. Give a fleeting glance at the SGH-E870 and you'll be enthralled.
Its uncluttered, linear silhouette, accentuated by its polished satin casing, expresses the true essence of sleek minimalism; while perfectly flushed keypad buttons highlight its streamlined look. This mobile is very slim and compact enough to slip into any purse, its design purity evokes a sense of refinement.
The tri-band clamshell GSM phone boasts a large 256K color TFT LCD with resolutions of 176 x 220 and an extra external OLED display with resolutions of 96 x 80. Other than that, it touts a 1.3 megapixel built-in digital camera, bluetooth, speaker phone for conferencing, MP3 playback, video playback, 30 polyphonic ringtones, 1000 phonebook entries and photo call. Having 80mb of internal memory, it can be expanded via a TransFlash/microSD slot.
But the fret is that majority of the mobiles available in pink are not high-end smartphones. Unfortunately, the Samsung SGH-E870 does not have the same level of features available at their competitors, who use 1.3 megapixel camera, 176x220 pixel resolution TFT internal screen, and 65k color external unit.
