The unique aspect about this Samsung P990 is the landscape mode of the display. This Samsung P900 can record broadcasts for later watching and also has TV-out port for exporting the image to a TV set. The supplemented 100MB internal memory can be assisted by a memory card using the microSD slot.

The most exciting and distinctive feature of this mobile is a built in Digital Media Broadcast receiver that lets you watch live TV programs. 2.2″ QVGA screen is able to display pictures at 30 frames per second making TV images clear and flicker-free. The screen also rotates to horizontal position for more optimal viewing.

The clamshell mobile phone houses a different 2 megapixel camera which can be used to take still photographs at 1600x1200 pixels. It Samsung P990 device comes with Korean DMB technology which has been adapted for the European broadcast standards.
