Taking about Nokia, it has its roots since 1865, with the commencement of a forest industry venture in Southwestern Finland by mining engineer Fredrik Idestam. Elsewhere, the year 1898 saw the foundation of Finnish Rubber Works Ltd, and Finnish Cable Works kicked-off its operations in the 1912.
